Couple Picture at Studio
0 commentsThis picture of my parents was taken at Kannan studio in Karur on 30th Apr 1957, just 15 days after their marriage... I.e exactly 63 years ago... My uncle Subramanian Vaidyanathan took them to the studio from Chinna Dharapuram....

0 commentsTwo years ago (2011), on her 80th birthday I asked my mother to take up a new assignment. I asked her to translate a classic in Tamil. With sheer persistence, she completed translating Jules Verne's "Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea" in Tamil, which runs into 750 pages of fulls-cape size. Now I need get them typed and arrange to get it published.
